The Recognised Teaching Practice Certificate (20 Hours) is a portfolio-based Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme designed to recognise previously acquired practical English language teaching experience.
Offered in collaboration with TEFL providers and accredited by ITEFLAC, the programme enables eligible applicants to gain formal recognition for documented teaching experience acquired through online teaching or private tutoring.
Unlike traditional teaching practicum programmes, this recognition pathway assesses prior teaching experience through the submission and evaluation of supporting evidence.
Successful applicants become eligible to receive a Recognised Teaching Practice Certificate (20 Hours).
Certificate Composition
The certificate comprises:
10 Hours – Recognised Practical Teaching Experience (RPL Assessed)
Practical teaching experience demonstrated through portfolio-based evidence and assessed against published programme requirements.
10 Hours – Structured Teaching Observation & Methodology Analysis
Completed through guided observation and analysis of teaching methodologies, lesson delivery techniques, learner engagement strategies, and pedagogical practice within an approved TEFL programme.

Evidence may include tutoring logs, client testimonials, lesson plans, business records, and professional references.
