The Recognised Teaching Practice Certificate (20 Hours) is a portfolio-based Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment programme designed to recognise previously acquired practical English language teaching experience.

The certificate consists of:

• 10 Hours Recognised Practical Teaching Experience (RPL Assessed)
• 10 Hours Structured Teaching Observation & Methodology Analysis

This programme assesses submitted evidence of prior teaching experience. It does not constitute a supervised teaching practicum, teaching placement, or provider-delivered teaching practice programme.

Applicants must have completed a TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent English language teaching qualification and possess relevant practical teaching experience appropriate to the pathway selected.

Applicants may apply through one of the following pathways:

• Online English Teaching Pathway
• Private Tutoring Pathway

All eligibility requirements published on the programme website must be satisfied.

Applicants must submit sufficient supporting evidence to demonstrate prior practical teaching experience.

Evidence may include, but is not limited to:

• Teaching logs
• Teaching platform analytics
• Student testimonials
• Client references
• Lesson plans
• Teaching materials
• Contracts or service agreements
• Business records
• Other supporting documentation

The assessment team reserves the right to request additional evidence where required.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information and supporting documentation are accurate, genuine, and capable of verification.

Submission of false, misleading, manipulated, fabricated, or materially inaccurate evidence may result in:

• Immediate rejection of the application
• Cancellation of approval
• Refusal of future applications

The assessment team reserves the right to verify evidence and contact referees, employers, clients, or other relevant parties where appropriate.

Applications are assessed against the following criteria:

• Authenticity
• Sufficiency
• Relevance
• Currency
• Demonstrated Teaching Competence
• Assessment outcomes may include:
• Recognised Competent
• Further Evidence Required
• Recognition Declined

Assessment decisions are made based on the evidence submitted and remain at the sole discretion of the assessment team.

Where submitted evidence is incomplete, insufficient, unclear, or requires clarification, applicants may be asked to provide additional information.

Failure to provide requested information within the specified timeframe may result in closure of the application.

Recognition is awarded only where sufficient evidence demonstrates that the applicant meets the published assessment requirements.

Submission of an application does not guarantee recognition, approval, certification, employment opportunities, visa eligibility, professional licensing, or acceptance by any employer, institution, government authority, or third party.

Only applicants who successfully satisfy the assessment requirements will become eligible to order a Recognised Teaching Practice Certificate (20 Hours).

Eligibility to order a certificate does not arise until the applicant has received formal notification of approval from the assessment team.

Certification fees become payable only after a portfolio has been successfully assessed and approved.

All certification fees are non-refundable once certificate processing has commenced.

The Recognised Teaching Practice Certificate (20 Hours) confirms that the applicant has successfully completed the programme's portfolio-based assessment process and has demonstrated evidence of prior practical teaching experience in accordance with the programme requirements.

The certificate does not represent:

• Supervised teaching practice delivered by the provider
• A formal teaching licence
• Academic credit
• Government recognition
• Professional registration
• Guaranteed employer acceptance

The assessment team reserves the right to refuse, suspend, revoke, or withdraw recognition where:

• Evidence is found to be false or misleading
• Material information has been omitted
• Verification concerns arise
• Programme requirements have not been met
• Such decisions remain at the discretion of the assessment team.

The provider reserves the right to amend programme requirements, assessment procedures, eligibility criteria, fees, and administrative processes at any time.

Changes will not normally affect applications already under active assessment.

By submitting a portfolio for assessment, applicants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
